As Canada Research Chair in Feminist Studies and Social Practice, Dr. Carla Rice is exploring this possibility.
Rice is a world leader in mobilizing creative methodologies to rethink difference. Recognizing the need for new methods to address persistent inequities, she is exploring how communities can use arts-informed research to advance social inclusion and justice by challenging stereotypes. She and her research team are leveraging the power of art and story to amplify marginalized voices, build intersectional alliances and imagine more just futures. By advancing research that aims to realize these goals in health, education, workplaces and the arts, she and her research team are fostering well-being and justice.
