Research involves

Understanding the molecular basis of heart and lung diseases.

Research relevance

This research will personalize and improve treatments for patients with heart and lung disease.

Research summary

Dr. Yohan Bossé and his team are using modern genomic approaches to understand the molecular basis of heart and lung diseases. He is working with colleagues to organize large and diverse biological sample collections for genomic health research, develop projects to fill gaps in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, and apply new genomic knowledge at the point of care. The main goal of his laboratory is to drive genomic research in the field of heart and lung diseases and translate scientific discoveries into new clinical uses to personalize the management and treatment of patients with these diseases.
