Research summary

Against the backdrop of “super diversity”— a wider variety of ethnic origins, human experiences and immigration status—the way we interact and collaborate is heavily influenced by technology and the need to be productive while feeling in control. Dr. Jorge Frozzini, Canada Research Chair in Cross-cultural Communication and Management Technologies in a Pluralist Environment, is using his unique perspective to analyze the linkages (connections, places and influences) among the elements that regulate a society, such as surveys, statutes, regulations and computer applications. He and his research team are studying these to learn more about how they influence the way individuals and groups interact.
