Research summary
Every day, we see media images of the many faces of discrimination and injustice. Dr. Naïma Hamrouni, Canada Research Chair in Vulnerability, Relationship Inequities and Structural Injustices, is studying relationship inequities as phenomena whose occurrence and recurrence are structural in that they appear in workplaces, schools, health care facilities and social services establishments.
Hamrouni and her research team are trying to refine how we conceptualize structural injustice and relationship inequity. Ultimately, their work may uncover avenues for the social transformation of such inequities.
