Research summary
The main objectives of the Canada Research Chair in Northern and Planetary Geological Remote Sensing are to develop innovative geological remote sensing and geomatics approaches, and to apply them to planetary remote sensing and to the study of Canada’s northern geology. The program is divided into three main axes: 1) the development of lithological and mineralogical remote sensing methods in a planetary remote sensing context, 2) the development of lithological remote sensing methods in a regional terrestrial context, and 3) the development of mineralogical remote sensing methods to study gossans in a local terrestrial context.
